Midwest Living's Editorial Guidelines Published on August 29, 2017 Print Share Hands On Time: 15 mins Total Time: 30 mins Servings: 6 Jump to Nutrition Facts Ingredients ⅔ cup mayonnaise 1 ½ teaspoons lemon zest 1 tablespoon lemon juice 1 clove garlic, minced 2 tablespoons minced fresh chives 2 teaspoons finely chopped fresh tarragon 2 teaspoons finely chopped fresh parsley ¼ teaspoon sugar Kosher salt Black pepper 2 - 2 ½ pounds center cut salmon fillet, skin on Thin lemon slices and/or parsley leaves (optional) Directions Preheat oven to 450°. In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, lemon zest and juice, garlic, chives, tarragon, parsley and sugar. Season mixture to taste with salt and pepper. Place salmon on a foil-lined baking sheet. Measure thickness of fish. Season with salt and pepper. Spread 1/4 cup sauce over top of salmon. Roast 4 to 6 minutes per 1/2-inch thickness of fish until fish just flakes when tested with a fork. Let rest 5 minutes. Thin remaining sauce to desired consistency with a teaspoon or so of water. Serve salmon with sauce on the side. If desired, garnish with several thin lemon slices or a scattering of parsley leaves.
